Estimated Expenses
MISB is run by a non-profit, Mercer Island Boys and Girls Club, and all costs are pass-through only. Here are the average expenses for the entire year, that will vary by team:
Uniforms ($200 to $400)
Program fees for field rental from the City of Mercer Island, tournament entry, umpire/ officiating staff, and maintenance ($600 to $1200)
External fall and winter training programs ($500 to $2000). This is paid directly to external training company.
If your team has a paid coach, you will be notified of additional fees ($800). Paid coaches are sometimes paid through the Boys and Girls Club, sometimes paid directly by the team.
The Boys and Girls Club will charge some fees up front, and the remainder at the end of the season, so teams are only charged for what they used.
